Tracy Vernon

Tracy received her initial dance training at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City. She has danced professionally for numerous dance companies and is currently the co-founder and director for Roots, Rhythm and Rapture, an ensemble of drummers and dancers that perform traditional music and dance from the Caribbean for audiences throughout New England. Tracy has been a dance educator in public education, as well as in the private sector for 21 years. She celebrates her sixth year as director and educator for the dance program at Amherst Regional High School.
