For over 40 years as a clinical social work psychotherapist, Marcia has worked in a range of clinical settings and with a wide variety of populations. Since 1988, she's also maintained a private practice helping adults to live more gratifying lives, working collaboratively with
clients on solution-focused strategies for resolving problems that are affecting their overall sense of wellbeing. Marcia's approach, based on principles of Developmental Psychology and Positive Psychology, is gentle, active, direct, and sometimes challenging. Her continuing love of this work comes from two sources: (1) a deep curiosity about people and their struggles, and (2) enjoying the privilege of witnessing so many of my clients make healthy changes.
