Integrative Counseling and Somatic Therapy helps clientsfeel more freedom and satisfaction in their lives and bodies and process the blocks that get in the way of our full aliveness. Weaving together aspects of Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, mindfulness, and Expressive Arts Therapy, Dan helps clients to bring awareness and healing to what holds us back from feelings of integration, aliveness, and personal power.

Combined Hands Bio-Integrative Therapy

11:30 am

Bio-Integration consists of countless physiological, chemical and electromagnetic activities that work seamlessly and harmoniously within the body. When dysfunctions do occur, our self-corrective capabilities create a cascade of reactions that work instantaneously to self-correct any faulty mechanisms. When the body cannot ameliorate the problem, symptoms arise! CHBIT facilitates both structural and functional changes at the most elemental levels of tissue. As energy forms the foundation of all matter, this form of therapy utilizes subtle touch and intention to facilitate optimal recovery.

Somatic Therapy

11:30 am

The body records our emotional experience as adeptly as our mind.  Our viscera and nervous systems record our entire lives and express these memories in tensions, as well as physical and emotional imbalances.  In Somatic Therapy, we explore mindful ways to identify, understand, and express our body’s voice using tools from Body-Centered Psychotherapy and the expressive arts.  Whether working with a therapist one-on-one or in a group, create more freedom and aliveness in your body and life through Somatic Therapy.
